The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA), invites the public to participate in celebrating Transit Month this September, a month-long Bay Area celebration of the important role of transit as a vital component to making the region accessible and equitable for all.
Win A Behind-the-Scenes Tour of TJPA’s Salesforce Transit Center
The TJPA, in coordination with Transit Month co-organizers, the San Francisco Transit Riders (SFTR) and Seamless Bay Area, is offering transit riders the opportunity to win a tour of TJPA’s Salesforce Transit Center, which spans four-blocks with six-levels and a 5.4-acre rooftop Park. The transit rider who logs the most valid trips this month along with the top 18 riders with the most logged trips that start or end at the Salesforce Transit Center through the SFTR’s Ride Contest will win tickets to participate in the tour. The tour will include a behind-the-scenes visit to the Transit Center’s two-level trainbox (currently not open to the public), which is the future downtown station of Caltrain’s 77-mile system and the northern terminus of California’s high-speed rail system, connecting SF to Anaheim/Los Angeles area.

“Fleet Week Math Quest: Take to the Skies” is an immersive experience that combines the excitement of aviation and naval history with the fascinating world of mathematics. This interactive event includes team-building exercises and mind-bending puzzles intended for grades 1-6 participating with their parents. Groups who pre-register should arrive within 30 minutes of the Quest’s start time. While walk-ins will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached, Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in the skies with math! Children are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the quest. A printed ticket is not required; we will have your name on a list at the check-in table.

“Fleet Week Math Quest: Take to the Skies” is an immersive experience that combines the excitement of aviation and naval history with the fascinating world of mathematics. This interactive event includes team-building exercises and mind-bending puzzles intended for grades 1-6 participating with their parents. Groups who pre-register should arrive within 30 minutes of the Quest’s start time. While walk-ins will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached, Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in the skies with math!
